Shakespeare's House

Stratford upon Avon is just seven miles away and as well as the famous Shakespeare’s House and theatres there are also good restaurants, a pretty river and interesting shops.

Broadway

The Cotswolds are only seven miles in the other direction with Broadway, Chipping Campden and further afield Stow on the Wold, Moreton in Marsh, the Slaughters and other pretty villages.

Great Bike Rides

You can start walks from the house or cycle along country lanes or dedicated cycle ways. We can recommend short walks or more challenging rambles locally. As our guests you can access up to eight miles of privately owned footpaths through fields and woodland around the village. (We also have somewhere to dry out wet boots and clothes if the sun doesn’t always shine, and a lockable store for bikes!)

The Fleece Inn

Many historic houses are within easy reach – Charlecote Park, Coughton Court, Hidcote Gardens, Snowshill Manor are all National Trust properties nearby – there is even a National Trust pub, the Fleece Inn at Bretforton, a few minutes drive.
Warwick Castle, Kenilworth Castle and Ragley Hall are other attractions.
Warwick, Stratford and Cheltenham all have race courses.
Birmingham, the NEC and Birmingham International are 40 minutes away.
