All rooms are double aspect, spacious and comfortable with sloping ceilings and uneven floors, a result of being nearly 400 years old. If certain facilities are important to you we hope we have thought of most items in the rooms - hairdryers, hot drinks with home made biscuits, TV, radio alarm, fresh water, extra blankets, synthetic pillows for allergy sufferers on request, cotton wool and tissues.

Breakfast is served in the sunny dining room and features a choice of freshly prepared dishes. We use local ingredients where we can, eggs from a local farm where the hens roam free and happy, bacon and sausages from our local butcher, orange juice is freshly squeezed just before serving, all our bread is home made.

We do not serve dinner but most of our guests enjoy exploring local restaurants and pubs – the nearest is just two miles away.

We want you to have a relaxing and enjoyable stay with us so if there is anything you need – a table booked for dinner, organising a taxi for you, use of an iron – just let us know.
